EasyRead is a translation and annotation software, not a full-text translation software, its end target is helping user read foreign language in practice. It requires user grasping basic English (or target languages of EasyRead) grammar. If you haven't learned English and don't intend learning English, EasyRead can't help you. If you are learning English or you often need reading some English documents, EasyRead is a good assistant. |

Does EadyRead support multi-users? |

EasyRead supports multi-users. You can add or delete users in the dialog "User Management". Or you also can change current user in running process through selecting user name in the dialog "User Management", then click "Set Current" button. EasyRead can save user account information and vocabulary for every user separately. |

I'm using trial version of EasyRead, and it expires today, how can I register? |

Please click "Help->How to register" in "EasyRead Menu" or visit ImTOO website to view register method.
You'd better register EasyRead 2002 before it expires to avoid its influence to your use. |

I can't find main window of EasyRead after running EasyRead 2002, why? |

EasyRead 2002 is designed for being embedded to IE, so it has no main window. You can see icon of EasyRead at right-bottom of the screen after EasyRead ran. Right-clicking on the icon will pop up
"EasyRead Menu"; left-clicking will pop up "User Management" window.
Even though you don't run EasyRead 2002, there will show the EasyRead icon in IE toolbar, you can translate current webpage by clicking this icon or right-clicking to pop up IE context menu, then clicking "EasyRead Translate" |

Why I can't see EasyRead icon in my IE toolbar? |

After you ensure that you installed EasyRead 2002 correctly, you still can't see the EasyRead icon in the IE toolbar, the first possible reason is that the IE toolbar have been customized. You can right-click your mouse on the toolbar, then select "Customize", select "EasyRead Translate" in "Available toolbar buttons", click "Add". Now EasyRead icon has been added to your IE toolbar.
The Second reason is that the IE toolbar width is too narrow or buttons in toolbar are too many. You can click >> icon on the right side of toolbar, click EasyRead icon in the pop-upped menu to translate webpage.
The third reason is that your IE version is too old to support user icons. |

What mean "Grasped" and other marks in the word menu? |
|
The six statuses are used to record how you are familiar to these words. EasyRead can do corresponding process according various marks of words. |

I clicked "Ignore this word" in word menu, but neither these words be translated nor menu popped when I click the words in the later translation, why? |

EasyRead don't process those words which are "Ignored". If you want to change the mark, you can select the whole word and then right-click on the selection, word menu will pop up. You can mark this word as other statuses. |

How to mark words rapidly? |

Open word menu, click the pushpin at right top to fix the menu on settled situation, clicking other word will show corresponding translation, at that time you can press the letters which are showed behind marks on your keyboard to mark words. |

How to cancel the marks of words I have marked? |
|
You can delete words in "User Vocabulary" window or mark the words as "New". These non-marked words are regarded as "New". |

I have learnt some words already, how to not to translate these words? |
|
Right-clicking EasyRead icon , pop up "User Management" window, select your user name, then click "Attribute", select your word level in the pop-upped dialog box (you can select several items). EasyRead will not translate these words. |

I can't make sure my current word ablity, how can I do? What do the "levels" in "New User" window mean? |
|
You can right-click the EasyRead icon , select "System Vocabulary" to view words in the vocabulary and define your word level.
"Level 01" to "level 20" are defined by frequence. If you are a high school student, you can select "level 01" commonly; if you are a college student, you can select "level 01" to "level 03" commonly; under high school can select basic words. |

I save some words I learned recently to a file, how can I make EasyRead not to translate these words? |

Right-clicking the EasyRead icon , select "User Vocabulary", then select "Grasped" or "Known", open "File" menu, select import and import this file, these words in this file will be marked as "Grasped" or "Known".

I open a novel which contains 100 thousands lines, translating it by EasyRead spend me 3 minutes. I can't bear to wait so long time, how can I do? |

If you want to read a long article, I suggest you to translate it using "Translate clipboard" to translate paragraph by paragraph. This method can improve translation speed apparently. |

Using "Translate clipboard". The common process is: select text you want to translate, press Ctrl+C and then press hot key Ctrl+Alt+Q to translate it. |

Open "File" menu after translating, select "Print" is alright. |

I want save the translated webpage, how to save it? |

EasyRead translate webpage according your current level, its results is dynamic, so it doesn't support the results saving. But you can select content you would like to save, use "copy-paste" to save it as text file. |

EasyRead reminds me "Hot keys conflict" after starting up, what's matter? |
|
If EasyRead "Translate clipboard" or dictionary hot keys are same to hot keys of other programs, the phenomenon will appears. Right-click EasyRead icon , select "Preferences", select "Hotkey" tab in pop-upped dialog to change hot keys, or change hot keys of other programs. |

Why my EasyRead can't read English (or other target language) aloud? |

Reading words aloud need the support of Microsoft Text-To-Speech engine.
You can download them from Microsoft's website or from ImTOO website for free. |

I notice that there are EasyRead 2002 English-Chinese(S) simplified Chinese version, EasyRead 2002 English-Chinese(T) English version and other different versions, what distinction is between them? |

EasyRead 2002 is product name. The software supports many target languages and user languages. The frontal part in parenthesis is target language (foreign language which you want to read), the hinder part is user language (commonly is your mother tongue). "Simplified Chinese" or "English" shows interface language of this software. |

I'm using EasyRead 0.9x version, I want to upgrade to EasyRead 2002, how can I import my former data? |

Open "Tools" menu of EasyRead 0.9x", select "Word Management" and then export the words in "User word book" to various text files. Open "User Vocabulary" in EasyRead 2002 menu and then import all kinds of words separately.
Notice: These "Grasped" words in EasyRead 0.9x contain original words which you select, so maybe these words are not grasped by yourself completely. |
