How to transfer songs from iPod touch to computer?

Question:
I want to move all of the songs on my 1st generation iPod touch to my new computer and transfer them to my new touch. But I don't know how to. iTunes cannot let me copy songs from iPod back to computer. Is there any way I can transfer my songs from iPod touch to computer hard drive?
